Flexible Covers for Seismic Isolators

Flexible fire-protection covers are used as passive fire barriers for seismic isolators. They are designed to withstand high temperatures and prevent fire from spreading. Because they are flexible, they have the capacity to slide along with the seismic isolators, guaranteeing complete cover. This protection is especially important in seismic regions, where isolators help reduce earthquake forces.

Mechanical Rebar Splices

TYPE 2 SPLICES

According to ACI 318, Type 2 mechanical splices are engineered to develop at least 150% of the reinforcing bar’s specified yield strength, making them the highest-performance option for structural continuity. Because they meet this enhanced strength requirement, Type 2 splices can be placed anywhere in the reinforced concrete element, including critical regions with high tensile demand or seismic loading. This makes them the preferred choice for projects that require maximum reliability, ductility, and full structural performance.

HEADED
SHEER SCREW
COLD-SWAGGED

It requires no bar-end preparation or threading. Bolts are tightened with a ratchet or impact wrench until the heads shear off, creating a positive mechanical connection. Its speed and flexibility make it ideal for field installations and rapid construction.

Offers exceptional installation versatility, requiring no bar-end preparation or threading. It can be pre-attached using a stationary press or installed directly on site with portable pressing equipment.

THREADED

Connects two threaded rebars by fully engaging their threads inside the connector. The system provides a strong, reliable connection ideal for high-performance and seismic applications.
